Foster Care Fortnight, running from Monday 11 May to Sunday 24 May, is a powerful moment to recognise the incredible role foster carers play in transforming young lives. This year’s theme, This is Fostering, shines a light on the real experiences, challenges, and impact of fostering — something we see every day at Three Circles Fostering.
Fostering is made up of real, everyday moments. It’s about offering stability, care, and encouragement when it’s needed most. It’s celebrating achievements, no matter how small, and being there through the more difficult days too. At Three Circles Fostering, we understand that behind every fostering journey is a dedicated carer making a lasting difference.
Supporting Our Carers Every Step of the Way
While Foster Care Fortnight is an important time to celebrate, our commitment to our carers goes far beyond these two weeks. At Three Circles Fostering, we believe that strong support all year round is essential for both carers and the children they look after.
That’s why we provide:
24/7 support — because fostering doesn’t stop at 5pm, and neither do we
Ongoing training and development to help carers build confidence, skills, and resilience
Regular events and meet-ups to create a sense of community and connection
A dedicated children’s engagement service, ensuring young people have opportunities to be heard, take part in activities, and build positive experiences
Access to resources and guidance whenever it’s needed
We work alongside our carers, recognising them as valued professionals and ensuring they feel supported, included, and empowered in their role.
