Working with Three Circles

We are proud to call every carer a part of one wider family. Our offices are covered in family photographs and we have a real homely feel to our operations.

The services we provide to children and their carers very much reflect our priorities and aspirations for children and young people. This fostering agency will always place the interests of our children above everything, including commercial considerations. This objective cannot be achieved without us caring about you, your family and each other. Foster carers, social workers, administration staff, teachers, managers and directors are all considered of equal importance. We welcome you for Who you are and who you wish to be.

Transfer to us

We believe foster carers should never feel pressured to change agencies, especially with financial incentives. If you’re happy where you are and feel well supported, we encourage you to stay. However, if you’re feeling undervalued or unsupported, we’re here to listen. We can have a conversation with you, without any obligation, to explore your options and see if we can offer a better fit for you.

The 7 Steps To Fostering

Step 1 - Get in touch

Fill out this contact form to set up a no obligation meeting if you are considering fostering.

  • Step 2 - Initial visit

We will visit your home to meet you and your family, and explore whether fostering is right for you.

  • Step 3 - Application form

You’ll be asked to fill out an application form to begin your assessment. Some initial checks will be carried out to make sure there are no concerns, such as police and medical checks, and personal references.

  • Step 4 - Fostering course

You’ll be invited to our 3 day course to help you find out more about fostering, the children who need foster carers and how you can prepare for a child coming to live with you. You will also complete a short online safeguarding course.

  • Step 5 - Panel

Once your assessment is complete, it will be presented to the fostering panel. They will make a recommendation on your suitability as a foster carer.

  • Step 6 - Assessment

A social worker will work with you to complete your fostering assessment. They will visit you regularly to get to know you, and assess your suitability to foster, and will share all information from the report with you.

  • Step 7 - Approval

This is where the real journey begins, and you are approved to welcome a child into your home.

You will be allocated a supervising social worker who will help you to prepare for a child coming to stay with you.
