Foster Care Fortnight 2025: The Power of Relationships – Could You Be the Difference?
From 12 to 25 May, we’re proud to join the UK’s biggest awareness campaign for fostering: Foster Care Fortnight, led by The Fostering Network. This year’s theme, “The Power of Relationships,” speaks directly to what makes fostering so transformative — the deep, meaningful bonds that change lives.
At Three Circles, we see every day how strong relationships help children in care feel safe, supported, and seen. Whether it’s a patient bedtime chat, celebrating a GCSE result, or just being there during tough times, foster carers are the cornerstone of connection for so many young people.
Why Relationships Matter
Children and young people in care have often experienced disruption, loss, or trauma. What they need most are stable, compassionate relationships that help rebuild trust and restore a sense of belonging. These relationships:
Provide emotional security
Support education and development
Boost confidence and resilience
Build lifelong memories and futures
The bond between a foster carer and a child can be life-changing.
Could You Be That Connection?
We are actively looking for new foster carers to join our supportive, committed fostering community at Three Circles. You don’t need special qualifications — just the ability to listen, care, and provide a safe, nurturing home. We offer:
A dedicated social worker
Generous allowances
So much more!
Celebrate With Us
Throughout Foster Care Fortnight, we’ll be sharing inspiring stories from our carers on social media and spreading the word using the hashtag #FosterCareFortnight.
Whether you’re just curious or ready to take the next step, we invite you to connect with us. Because every child deserves the chance to thrive in a relationship built on trust, love, and stability.
