π Celebrating Eid al-Adha with Our Three Circles Fostering Community
As the moon rises and families come together in celebration, Three Circles Fostering would like to wish a heartfelt Eid Mubarak to all who are observing Eid al-Adha.
This special time of year is not only a celebration of faith and tradition, but also a reminder of compassion, sacrifice, and unityβvalues that are deeply rooted in the work we do every day.
π What is Eid al-Adha?
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar. It honours the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God, a story that highlights faith, devotion, and the spirit of giving.
The festival is marked with prayer, family gatherings, sharing meals, and giving to those in needβa beautiful reminder of the importance of community and kindness.
π€ Reflecting Our Values
At Three Circles Fostering, we celebrate the rich diversity of the children, carers, and families we work with. Moments like Eid al-Adha offer a valuable opportunity to learn from one another, build understanding, and honour the cultures and beliefs that shape us.
Whether you are observing Eid yourself or supporting a young person who is, we encourage all our fostering families to embrace this time with empathy and respect.
π What Weβre Doing
To support and recognise this meaningful celebration:
We've sent Eid cards to families who observe Eid, as a small gesture of inclusion and appreciation.
We continue to offer craft and activity packs for key cultural and religious celebrations throughout the year, helping children and carers connect through shared experiences.
π Eid Mubarak from All of Us at Three Circles
To everyone celebrating, we wish you a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Eid al-Adha.
May this time bring warmth to your home, love to your hearts, and unity to your community.
Eid Mubarak!
