LGBT Young People in Care Group 'KIC-out'

Hi all,

We wanted to draw your attention to a new group delivered by The Proud Trust alongside us at Three Circles called KIC-out.

It is a group for young lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people or those exploring their gender or sexuality who have experience of being in care. It’s a safe space to meet new people and to gain additional support.

The next group is Saturday the 14th April 1pm - 3pm.

LGBTQ+ Youth in Care

The first LGBTQ+ youth in care group took place on Saturday the 6th January 1pm - 3pm.

The young people enjoyed the group and have asked for the next session to be in March. We will confirm the date closer to the time.

Young people decided the group shall be called 'KIC-out'. The KIC stands for kids in care and the out represents having the support to be who you are. They have discussed and designed how they want the logo to look which is below. The next session will be in March and will involve designing digital media for training.

For an informal chat or to find out more about the group please contact Charlotte at the office
