August monthly roundup
Three Circles Fostering - Round up of the month alert! We have had a busy August, a picnic in the park which Seb so eloquently wrote up HERE. Everyone seemed to be on holiday, so the office was really quiet. As I am writing this, we have training on in the office and it is so nice to see carers around the space again.
We were busy over the Summer making a few changes to the office. A new rainbow room tea space has been designed for you all in the big training room, a blog post about this can be read HERE.
There were also changes made to the young people's room. We added a toddler area, for when carers bring toddlers in (during annual reviews etc.). We also painted and made the space way cooler! A desk has been added for when young people have tuition sessions in the office as well.
So many young people received their results from school over Summer, we will be recognising their amazing achievements individually. Their achievements blow us away, every day!
It was also pride at the end of August. We were really pleased to see a family zone at this years Pride. This was run by Proud2bparents who are a fantastic charity supporting lgbt parents and their families. Check out their website for more information about this charity.
We will be writing a monthly update every month - so if you have something you want us to add please get in touch!
