During the Easter half term we welcomed a number of young people who have signed up to the Prince's Trust Achieve programme. We had a wonderful trip to the BBC in Salford and had a tour of some of the studios there. We had a close look at the Blue Peter studio and also the studio in which Match of the Day is filmed. The tour guides discussed how to gain a career in the media and that there are lots of routes into a career with the BBC.

The next day we all took part in a workshop on understanding basic rights. Young people created a large wooden jigsaw, painting a piece each. Each person chose a right that was most important to them, all these pieces have come together and are now on display in the panel room at the office.

All young people who attended have been awarded a certificate from the Prince's Trust.

The next prince's Trust phase will be in the Summer holidays. We have lots planned including first aid course, tech workshop and much more!
